We Promote Recycling and Sustainability

The construction business is a major contributor to waste in the landfills, as a small women-owned business, we have made it a priority to promote sustainability and minimize our waste. Being a green builder is our mission for now and our future. At every job we make sure to reduce waste by taking roofing materials that can be reused for another job, recycling scraps that the recycling facility takes, and cardboard is the biggest one.

Metal Roofing

We recycle all shingles, but with recycling facilities starting to reject this material, we encourage metal permanent roofing systems. Metal roofs typically contain 95% of recycled materials and are recyclable at the end of its life-span. We are a preferred contractor for metal roofs, this material is more sustainable than other materials as it is durable, top-tier for wind-resistance and safety, and is considered permanent roofing.

Installing a metal roof will conserve energy, reducing your carbon footprint. The metal roof will reflect the sun’s rays, repelling the heat that other material would absorb. Metal roofs will keep your house cooler, and ultimately reduce your energy usage. Consider installing a metal roof for its longevity and sustainable pros, it will also save you money. Lady On The Roof® highly recommends an inspection prior to any solar panel placement, and encourages that a metal roof be the roofing material as opposed to asphalt shingles due to life span of the permanent roofing system.
